What a membership opens

A screener on every Form ADV answer

Filter by assets, growth, average account, client mix, advisory staff, custodian, the broker-dealer its advisors are licensed with, clearing firm, fees, minimums, ownership and disciplinary record. Pick from 60 columns and sort on any of them.

Ten years of each firm’s filings

Assets, accounts, clients and headcount from every year of the SEC’s registered-adviser lists, with one-, three- and five-year growth and the year each firm first registered.

Every advisor, every owner

A profile for each registered advisor, with their firm, exams and full career, plus the owners and executives every firm names on Form ADV, with stakes and a flag for firms with an outside investor.

Alerts when filings change

Watch any firm, or save a screen. When a release lands, we email what moved: new registrations, firms that left the SEC’s list, big swings in assets or staff and headquarters moves.

Exports for your own tools

Download any screen or watchlist as CSV for your CRM or spreadsheet: 2,500 rows a month.

Funds, holdings and territory

Every private fund with its auditor, administrator and prime broker; each firm’s 13F portfolio and who holds a given ETF; and every firm with an office near any ZIP code, ready as a trip list.

Briefs, brochures and your AI assistant

A one-page AI brief on any firm for meeting prep, search inside every firm’s brochure, and a connector so Claude or ChatGPT can answer from Atlas.

Look-alikes and list matching

Find the firms most like any firm you name, or paste a conference list and match every name to its SEC record.

A benchmark for every firm

Each firm against the peers of its type and size: growth, average account, assets per adviser and clients per adviser, with where it ranks.

Questions

Where does the data come from?
Every figure comes from public SEC filings: Form ADV Part 1 and its schedules, the SEC’s monthly lists of registered advisers going back ten years, and broker-dealers’ audited reports on EDGAR. Each section of a firm’s Atlas record names the filing it came from.
Does Atlas include advisors’ email addresses and phone numbers?
No. We don’t sell personal contact details. Atlas gives each firm’s website, main office, CRD and SEC numbers and the owners and executives it names on Form ADV, which is what most teams use to find the right person through their own tools.
How current is it?
The SEC publishes its registered-adviser data monthly, and we load each release when it lands. The current data is from filings as of October 1, 2026. Members get an email when firms on their watchlist or in their saved screens change.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time, from the Plan page. Monthly plans stop at the end of the month you’ve paid for; there’s no annual contract unless you choose annual billing, which saves $60 a year. New members get 7 days free.
Which advisers are covered?
Every investment adviser registered with the SEC: wealth managers, private fund advisers, asset managers and dually registered broker-dealers. Advisers registered only with a state aren’t in the SEC’s data, so they aren’t in Atlas.
Is the news still free?
Yes. Financial ADVSR’s reporting, newsletters and every firm’s basic profile stay free. Atlas adds the full database underneath them.
